Ofisx Inventory

Best offline inventory app for iPhone (2026)

Inventory Manager Offline by Ofisx (sold on Google Play as "Inventory Management Offline") is an inventory app for iPhone and Android that works 100% offline: no account and no internet are needed, and your stock, barcode sales, purchases and customer and supplier balances stay on the phone, with backup to iCloud or Google Drive. It is free up to 100 products and 300 transactions. Below we compare it with the other iPhone apps that come up for "offline inventory app" on the App Store, using what each developer says on its App Store page.

Updated: 2026-10-21 · Published by Ofisx, the maker of Inventory Manager Offline. App Store names, developers, prices and rating counts were checked on the UK App Store on 21 October 2026; descriptions are summarised from each app's own App Store page.

Short answer: which one to pick

  • Stock, sales and who-owes-you on one iPhone, fully offline, no sign-up: Inventory Manager Offline (Ofisx) — barcode scanning with the camera, sales and purchases, low-stock alerts, profit and VAT reports, customer and supplier balances, iCloud backup. Free up to 100 products and 300 transactions; Pro is monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase.
  • Counting and moving stock across several locations, team sync later: Mobile Inventory: Scan & Track — works offline and syncs when you reconnect; team sync, alerts and export are Pro.
  • A till on the phone rather than a stock book: Offline Shop - Inventory POS (free up to 50 orders a month) or InventoPOS (core features free, one-time Premium purchase, staff passcodes).
  • Just a product list with low-stock alerts: Inventra - Inventory Manager — offline, no login, PDF/CSV export.
  • Only scanning and counting barcodes into a CSV: Barcode Scanner Offline.
  • A team that is online most of the time: Sortly — a cloud app with an offline mode in its iPhone app; an account is required.

Why so few well-known apps work fully offline on iPhone

Most popular inventory apps (Sortly, Zoho Inventory, inFlow, Square for Retail) are cloud services: your account and data live on their servers, and the iPhone app is a window onto them. Some of them cache data so you can keep working through a short outage, but you still need an account and a connection to start.

Fully offline apps keep the database on the iPhone itself. That is what you want in a basement stockroom, a market stall, a van or a site with no signal — and when you simply do not want your stock and customer list on someone else's server. The trade-off is that one phone holds the data, so backup matters and a team cannot share live stock.

The apps in detail

Inventory Manager Offline (Ofisx)

Built for offline use from the start: there is no sign-up and nothing is sent to a server. Add products (or import them from Excel), scan barcodes with the iPhone camera, record sales, purchases and expenses, and see low-stock alerts, profit, VAT/tax and cash-flow reports.

It also keeps current accounts — who owes you, who you owe, collections, payments and due dates — and shares receipts and statements as PDF or prints them on 58 mm / 80 mm thermal printers. The same app is also on Android.

Backup: manual backup to iCloud or Google Drive is free; Pro adds automatic daily backup and removes the product and transaction limits.

Mobile Inventory: Scan & Track

By Nastasiu Holding SRL. Its App Store page lists barcode and QR scanning with batch scanning, stock counts, multi-location stock, custom fields, a transaction log and automatic local backups in the free version.

Real-time team sync with roles, low-stock and expiry alerts, Excel/CSV export and cloud backup are Pro. It is a stock-counting tool: sales, receipts and customer balances are not part of the listed features.

Inventra - Inventory Manager

By Silversky Technology. Its App Store page lists products with custom categories, low-stock alerts, PDF/CSV export, database import/export for backup, and search and filters.

Barcode scanning, sales and customer balances are not among the listed features. The last App Store update was in August 2025.

Offline Shop - Inventory POS

By Binaryscript Private Limited. A phone point of sale: unlimited products with photos and SKUs, cost and selling price, barcode lookup, orders with discount and tax, A4 or thermal receipts, a customer list with purchase history, stock adjustments with a reason, and sales reports.

The order limit on the free plan is the thing to check if you sell many small items a day. Customer debts and supplier balances are not among the listed features.

InventoPOS

By Techcave, LLC (released July 2026). Checkout with tax and cash or card recording, stock levels, costs, suppliers and low-stock warnings, an end-of-day "Close Day" summary and PDF sales, expense and tax reports.

Staff can have their own passcodes and roles on the same device. As everything is local, there is no way to see the shop from a second phone.

Barcode Scanner Offline

A batch barcode scanner: continuous scanning, automatic counts per barcode, scan history and CSV export. It records what you scanned; prices, sales and stock balances are kept elsewhere (for example in a spreadsheet).

Sortly: Inventory Simplified

The best-known app in this list. Sortly is a cloud inventory app with photos, folders, QR/barcode labels and multi-user access; according to its help centre the mobile apps keep working offline and push changes to the other devices on the account when the connection returns.

You need a Sortly account and the web app needs internet, so it is an "offline mode" rather than an offline app.

Memento Database

A general-purpose database app with barcode fields, so you can design an inventory or serial-number log yourself. Sales, receipts and customer balances are not ready-made — you build them.

How to choose an offline inventory app for iPhone

  1. Fully offline or "offline mode" — Read the App Store description: "no account, no internet required" and "data stored on your device" mean a fully offline app; "syncs when you reconnect" means a cloud app with an offline cache.
  2. Backup to iCloud or a file — With on-device data, losing the phone means losing the stock book unless the app backs up. Check iCloud, Google Drive or file export, and test a restore once.
  3. Barcode scanning with the iPhone camera — Scanning at the counter or during a stock take is what makes a phone app faster than a notebook. Some offline apps in the App Store list no scanner at all.
  4. Free limits and how you pay — Compare product, transaction or order limits on the free plan, and whether the paid version is a subscription or a one-time purchase.
  5. Customer and supplier balances — Small shops often sell on tab. An app that keeps stock and who-owes-what together saves a second notebook.

What Inventory Manager Offline does not do

  • Inventory Manager Offline is single-device: there is no multi-user access and no web panel. For a team, use the online Ofisx Inventory Management app.
  • It is not a card-payment till and has no e-commerce or marketplace integrations.
  • It is a new app, so it has few App Store ratings so far.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best offline inventory app for iPhone?

For a small shop or trader who wants stock, barcode sales and customer balances on one iPhone with no internet and no account, Inventory Manager Offline by Ofisx is a strong fit: data stays on the phone, it backs up to iCloud and it is free up to 100 products and 300 transactions. If you want a till screen, look at Offline Shop or InventoPOS; for multi-location stock counts, Mobile Inventory: Scan & Track.

Is there a free inventory app for iPhone that works without internet?

Yes. Inventory Manager Offline (Ofisx) includes every feature for free up to 100 products and 300 transactions; Inventra, InventoPOS (core features) and Barcode Scanner Offline are free downloads; Mobile Inventory: Scan & Track keeps unlimited products free and charges for team sync.

Can I scan barcodes on iPhone without internet?

Yes. Camera barcode scanning works offline in Inventory Manager Offline, Mobile Inventory: Scan & Track, Offline Shop and Barcode Scanner Offline.

Does Sortly work offline on iPhone?
